The 27-year-old had been removed for being too drunk
A drunk football fan has been jailed for launching a racist tirade before punching, kicking, head-butting and spitting at four stewards and two police officers during an England game.
Jack Scotter spat in one officer’s eye, then head-butted another during the Three Lions match against Switzerland earlier this year.
He also launched his verbal and physical attacks at stadium at Wembley in north London on March 26.
The 27-year-old was booted out of the ground for being intoxicated and when he was taken outside, launched a racist rant.
He then assaulted four stewards by punching, kicking, head-butting and spitting at them, before spitting in a police officer’s eye and head-butting another, Scotland Yard said.
Scotter was jailed for just over a year, after pleading guilty to four counts of racially aggravated common assault and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker, at Harrow Crown Court on Friday.
Scotter’s violent outburst happened as England beat Switzerland 2-1 during this year’s Nations League competition.
