Christine Quinn has been married to Christian Dumontet since 2019

The husband of Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn has been charged with assault and child abuse.

Tech executive Christian Dumontet was charged with three misdemeanours, including child abuse/endangerment, assault, and violation of protection order.

The couple, who have been married since 2019, share one child, Christian Georges.

The Los Angeles Police Department arrested Dumontet in March after an alleged domestic violence incident at their home.

The pair then filed for divorce a week after the incident.

Quinn has not publically spoken out about her ex-husband but her attorney Jacqueline Sparagna issued a brief statement to Page Six.

She believes the charges are a crucial step in protecting both Christine, as well as her son Christian.

“He has now been formally charged with child abuse against his 2-year-old toddler, assault against Christine Quinn, and for violating a restraining order.

“We believe this development is a crucial step toward safeguarding the legal and personal interests of both victims and trust that the matter will continue to be handled with the utmost seriousness it deserves.”

Christine Quinn rose to fame in the popular Netflix series Selling Sunset.

She welcomed her son in May 2019.

Christine confirmed the news on Instagram. Alongside a photo of her baby bump, the mum wrote, “It’s official! I’m a mommy! Baby C made his grand entrance over the weekend. I am beyond grateful to my husband, and to all the wonderful doctors and nurses who helped me. It was a little scary, but we are beyond grateful.”
