The salaries of the EastEnders cast have been revealed in a new BBC report, which for the very first time discloses the wages of all of the broadcaster’s actors, presenters and radio hosts that are earning more than £150,000. While the highest-earning stars in Albert Square are doing very well for themselves, you might be surprised to learn that it's Casualty duo, Derek Thompson and Amanda Mealing, that are the two highest paid soap stars. In fact, Thomspon earns between £350,000 - £399,999 for his performance as Charlie Fairhead in the drama. Given the nation's fascination with all things EastEnders, we reckon that a fair few people will be interested in knowing how much their top stars are making. Danny Dyer must be delighted.
