It has been revealed that the long-awaited sequel to Dying Light will take "at least 500 hours" to complete fully.
Due to release on February 4, Dying Light 2 promises to be hours of terrifying first-person zombie chaos. Sharing the news on their official Twitter page, the creators said the game would take "almost as long as it would take to walk from Warsaw to Madrid".

Fans of the game were a little concerned over the amount of time needed to complete the adventure. However, Techland confirmed that most people would be able to finish the main story and side quests in just under 100 hours.
This news took the internet by storm, and there were those who felt that 500 hours was a bit of a daunting mission to undertake. Techland quickly put those fears to rest by saying that the enormous amount of time to reach 100% was reached by doing literally everything, and most players will be able to finish the main story and side quests in under 100 hours.

"500 hours is related to maxing out the game - finishing all the quests, endings, and exploring every part of the world, but a regular player should finish the story + side quests and do quite a lot of exploring in less than 100 hours, so don't worry," Techland said.
In a separate tweet, the company elaborated more, saying that "if you're not in a rush," Dying Light 2's story and side quests should take approximately 70-80 hours to bash out.

Reacting to the news on Twitter, fans were still astounded by the time needed to 100 per cent the game.
"I'mma keep it real with you techland, this does NOT make me wanna 100% your game," one person wrote.
Another said: "Getting older now, I don't have this much time to spend on stuff..."
