Rapper Action Bronson reveals how he lost over six stone in three months

Many people have used the lockdown situation as an opportunity to assess their health and wellbeing. Action Bronson being a prime example.

Over the last three months, the New York rapper has lost over 90 pounds in weight – roughly 40 kilograms, or six stone.

That’s a heck of a turnaround.

Bronson weighed 363 pounds at the start of the year – just under 26 stone. He put this down to his obsession with food, and the influence it has had over his life.

Writing on Instagram, Bronson said:

“I was on a path that leads straight to the graveyard. 

“Eating for sport took its toll, but it’s my fault and it’s on me to fix me. I owe it to myself and my family. I reached 363 pounds and I was shocked and scared.”

Before becoming a rapper full-time, Bronson was a chef in the Big Apple, but he never left the culinary world completely behind. 

He went on to host a travel show dedicated to food called F**k That’s Delicious, which aired on Viceland. 

To be fair to Bronson, those big, motherf**king steaks look too good to turn down.

How Action Bronson lost over 90 lbs in weight

There are no secrets when it comes to losing weight. It’s about consuming fewer calories with your diet, and pumping some serious iron to fuel further fat loss.

Speaking to TMZ earlier this year, Bronson said his weight loss transformation was the result of consistent weight training, cardio, drinking juice and cooking low calorie meals for his family.

“I run, I do my push-ups, I do a lot of cardio work,” he said. 

“I juice a lot and drink green juice two times a day.”

A quick glance at Bronson’s Instagram workouts show he’s been killing it in the gym, and with great consistency, too.
