What would you rather subject yourself to: hopping into a ring to get thrown around by a professional wrestler or stepping into the ring to have your actual face punched off by a professional boxer?
Admittedly, neither option is particularly attractive. Yes - wrestling is scripted and, unlike boxing, the goal is not to cause physical harm to your opponent, but being thrown around from great heights is still dangerous, and those who compete are still very tough.
