Another rematch for the undisputed Super Lightweight champion.

Katie Taylor has officially confirmed her next fight.

The Bray boxer will face Amanda Serrano once again in a rematch on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

The fight, taking place in the 80,000 capacity venue which is home of the Dallas Cowboys NFL team, will also be streamed worldwide on Netflix and will be a co-main event alongside Jake Paul vs 57-year-old Mike Tyson.

A statement released by MVP promotions on Tuesday afternoon reads: “The most anticipated women’s boxing rematch in history: Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 2 for the undisputed Super Lightweight Championship is official as the co-main event to Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson.

“Two years ago, Taylor and Serrano fought for the first time in a bout that resulted in a highly debated split-decision win for Katie Taylor.

“The event made history as the first-ever female fight to headline Madison Square Garden and went on to be awarded Sport’s Illustrated’s Fight of the Year and The Ring’s Event of the Year in 2022.

“On Saturday, July 20th, live on Netflix, Katie Taylor will look to defend her belts, while Amanda Serrano will look to prove that the judges had it wrong in 2022!”

Following Taylor’s win against Chantelle Cameron last November, it was expected that her next fight would be the trilogy bout against the boxer.

However hopes of the showdown began to fade in recent months after the initial buzz, which saw Katie and her promoter Eddie Hearn call for it to take place in Croke Park.

Katie Taylor and Serrano faced off last in April 2022, when they became the first women to headline a pay-per-view card at a sold-out Madison Square Garden in New York.

Katie won the match by a very close split decision on the night.

In a statement, Taylor said of the upcoming rematch: “This is the rematch the world has wanted to see.

“The first fight in New York was obviously an epic occasion and it more than lived up to the billing, and I’m sure the rematch will be no different.

“I want to thank Matchroom and DAZN for their help in making the fight possible and I’m looking forward to defending my titles as Undisputed World Champion in Dallas on Saturday, July 20.”
