Sylvester Stallone rips into ‘parasites’ creating Rocky spin-off

April Curtin

He described one producer as ‘pathetic’ and slated his ‘moronic useless vulture children’

Sylvester Stallone has torn into film producers yet again for making another Rocky spin-off.

The Hollywood actor, 76, wrote and starred as the main character in all six of the Rocky Balboa movies.

Despite contributing to writing and actually starring in Creed spin-offs, Stallone has previously accused Rocky producer Irwin Winkler of withholding ownership rights to the films.

“I have zero ownership of Rocky,” he told Variety.

This week, producers announced a new Rocky spin-off about Rocky Balboa’s antagonist Ivan Drago is currently in the works. But again, Stallone is far from happy.

Taking to social media to share his frustrations on Sunday, Stallone wrote: “Another Heartbreaker… Just found this out…ONCE AGAIN , this PATHETIC 94 year old PRODUCER and HIS MORONIC USELESS VULTURE CHILDREN, Charles And David, are once again picking clean THE BONES of another wonderful character I created without even telling me …

“I APOLOGIZE to the FANS , I never wanted ROCKY characters to be exploited by these parasites…”

The star added that he has “nothing but respect” for Dolph Lundgren, who portrays the character Drago in the movies.

In less than 24 hours, the post had received hundreds of thousands of likes, with many rushing to show support for the Hollywood superstar.

“It’s not a Drago story if it’s not written by Sylvester Stallone,” one person wrote.

“Nobody should be in charge of this franchise but you!” another added.

The next Rocky spin-off will be Creed III, which is due to come out in March, 2023. Further details about the Drago movie are yet to be released.
