A source who claims to be close to Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed why they think the actor refuses to date women over the age of 25.

Earlier this week, DiCaprio broke up with his partner Camila Morrone after five years together, sparking rumours and speculation that she had reached his maximum age.

Morrone only turned 25 a few months ago, and this led many to grow concerned for the future of their relationship, given Leo’s dating history and the fact he tends to never date women over 25.

However speaking to the New York Post, one close source said that Leo is very much against having a family.

“By the time girls reach 25, they’re looking for more — they’re looking to get married and settle down,” they said. “That is not what Leo wants. He does not want a family and does not want to be around women who may press him for that.”

They continued: “The minute a girl meets him, the clock is ticking. If she gets too old, in a couple of years, she is gone. If she gets too close, in a couple of years, she is gone.

“He’s gotten older but his taste has not gotten any older.”

Earlier this year, a rather unique graphic went viral that seemingly illustrated Leo’s illustrious dating life. The chart demonstrated that Leo only dates a woman until they turn 25, with the front runners being Bar Refaeli, Kelly Rohrbach, Nina Agdel and now Morrone.

While Leo’s dating prospects are obviously plentiful, here’s to hoping his next boo makes it past 25.
