Social media users have got creative in a bid to highlight the couple's age difference
Leonardo DiCaprio's relationship with Eden Polani has been likened to David Harbour dating Stranger Things co-star Millie Bobby Brown.
Harbour, who plays Chief Jim Hopper in the Netflix original series, takes in Bobby Brown, known as Eleven, as a foster child in the series.
He is often depicted trying to police her relationship with Mike Wheeler in the show as the pair go from friends to boyfriend and girlfriend.
But the father/ daughter relationship has taken on a new meaning of late after viewers noticed that they have the same age difference as DiCaprio does with his new flare.
The Titanic actor is rumoured to be dating Polani after his four-year relationship with American model and actor Camila Morrone came to an end.
Aged 19, she is 29 years his junior, leaving social media users to get creative in a bid to highlight the sizeable age difference.
Harbour, 47, is also 29 years older than Bobby Brown, which somewhat puts things in context.
Putting it differently on TikTok, one person pointed out: “Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend is so young her high school experience was interrupted by COVID 19.”
While another user went a step further, stitching the video and sharing a photo of Pedro Pascal with his The Last of Us costar Bella Ramsey.
“If you want to grasp that age gap a little bit more by seeing it in different people here you go, they’re 19, he’s 47,” the TikToker said. “Leo’s girlfriend is 19, Leo is 48. It’s off by one year but it just really shows how fucking nasty that is."
Somebody else wrote: “he was 10 years out of high school when she was born.” Another added: “that’s the age gap of me and my dad.”
While one more mused: “I just realized this. My best friend is 32, their kid is about to turn 3. Pretty much the same age gap."
“It's also a whole harry styles in-between them,” someone else said in reference to the 29-year-old singer.
