Kenan Thompson roasts Leonardo DiCaprio with joke about Zendaya’s age

Predictable, but still funny.

Kenan Thompson, the host of the 2022 Emmys Awards, left audience and viewers in shock with a joke about Leonardo DiCaprio and Zendaya during the ceremony on Monday night. The Saturday Night Live star, while talking about celebrities in the crowd focused on 26-year-old Euphoria star Zendaya, who plays schoolgirl Rue in the HBO show. “Twenty-six is a weird age in Hollywood,” he said. “You’re old enough to play a highschooler but too old to date Leonardo DiCaprio.” https://twitter.com/Phil_Lewis_/status/1569484116747292674 The mocking was met with gasps from the audience, while Zendaya buried her head in her hands to hide her reaction. FYI DiCaprio was not in attendance at the ceremony. It is no secret that the movie star has a thing for younger women and there seems to be a strikingly regular pattern of cutting ties either once or before they turn 25-years-old. One insider even revealed the reason she believes this seems to happen time and time again. The topic of the actor's dating preference has been the butt of many online jokes after he recently split with Camilla Morrone, his girlfriend of four years - after she turned 25. In 2020, Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais made a dig at the star while talking about Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
