The former UFC lightweight champion was given an immediate shot at Andrey Koreshkov's welterweight title. And although he went the distance with the champ, the 32-year-old lost every round on the judges' score cards and was defeated by unanimous decision.
Koreshkov, meanwhile, sent out a message to the rest of the division with an impressive display that included a series of nasty looking knees to the face.
