Everton winger Richarlison appeared to throw a lit flare into the Goodison Park crowd during his goal celebrations after their 1-0 win against Chelsea.

The Brazilian struck early into the second half after pouncing on César Azpilicueta's mistake and his goal secured a vital win for Frank Lampard's side in their quest for survival. However during the pandemonium the winger found a flare that had been thrown onto the pitch in amongst the celebrations at the Gwladys Street End. Although there have been no reported injuries, Richarlison's actions were heavily criticised on social media, with many fearing for the safety of the fans.
