Piers Morgan has defended Cristiano Ronaldo's recent move to Al Nassr following huge backlash.
Ronaldo completed his move to the Saudi Arabian side last week and was formally introduce to fans in front of a sold-out Mrsool Park.
The 37-year-old is on a lucrative pay cheque while in the Middle East and is reportedly earning £175m a year on a two-and-a-half year contract.
His move comes shortly after his explosive interview with Morgan in November, where he claimed he could still play at the highest level.
Many have criticised the Portugal forward's decision to join Al Nassr but Morgan, who has passionately defended Ronaldo on numerous occasions, has done so once again.
One Twitter user asked Morgan: "Thoughts on Ronaldo being finished?'"
Morgan then responded, tweeting: "Last time I checked, Cristiano had just signed the biggest transfer deal in football history to become the world's highest-paid athlete at the age of 38, playing in the only country to beat World Champions Argentina in the World Cup. That's my kinda 'finished'".

Ronaldo turned down an approach from another unnamed Saudi club in the summer but rejected their advances as he tried to hold out for a move to a Champions League club.
Initially, Ronaldo remained cautious about moving to the Middle East and dismissed claims that he was set to move to the club in the days after his Manchester United departure.
However the 37-year-old performed an almighty U-turn and put pen to paper on a deal worth £175m a year.
Al Nassr are one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabia, winning the Saudi Pro League nine times in their history, although they haven't won the title since 2019.
