Nottingham Forest criticised for taking 39 minute round-trip flight to Blackpool

What is the point?

Nottingham Forest have been criticised for taking an 39 minute round-trip flight to Blackpool for their FA Cup Third Round tie. Forest were comfortably beaten 4-1 by the Championship opposition as goals from Marvin Ekpiteta, Ian Poveda, CJ Hamilton and Jerry Yates all came before Ryan Yates' late consolation. The club recently partnered with E.ON as a way to "create a greener and more sustainable energy future by encouraging people to take action for climate". One Twitter user said: "Nottingham Forest actually flew in and out of Blackpool Airport on a 39-minute roundtrip flight for that FA cup game today. "They even had their coach ready at the airport (which is now probably going back to Nottingham empty). Real Madrid were recently criticised for taking a 15 minute flight to an away game against Real Valladolid.
