Michael Bisping reacts to Conor McGregor’s dazzling $1 million watch

Don't expect to see Bisping wearing one of these on TV anytime soon

UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping has reacted hilariously to Conor McGregor's dazzling $1 million watch. McGregor recently unveiled his new timepiece (alongside a new suit and car) in a post on Instagram. "New watch new suit new whip alert" read the caption. https://www.instagram.com/p/CKBy1crJeiP/ Crafted by luxury watchmakers Jacob & Co, the model McGregor wears is called the Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette in Rose Gold. It is valued at $1 million - or £737,000 to be precise. McGregor's model even had some bespoke elements added, which bumped the price up to somewhere around $1.5 million. https://www.instagram.com/p/CKCxf-DrS1g/   According to Jacob & Co, McGregor's model is "composed of 342 invisibly set White Baguette Diamonds". You had me at white baguette, but lost me at diamonds. Even the watch's moon has a "magnificent Jacob-Cut 288–facet spherical diamond that reflects every ray of incoming light, illuminating the night sky throughout its 60-second rotation around an independent axis". Unless you're an astronomer, it's probably difficult to make complete sense of that. Either way, McGregor seems to be enjoying himself in Abu Dhabi ahead of his UFC return this weekend. The Irishman goes up against Dustin Poirier for the second time. UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping thinks McGregor's behaviour is evidence he's shaken off any 'chip' on his shoulder. Speaking to JOE ahead of Sunday's action at UFC 257, Bisping said: "He seems to be enjoying his success. That chip on his shoulder from a few years ago seems to be gone, and that's great. "I have a few nice watches but I don't even wear them these days. "I'm a working class lad from Lancashire, for crying out loud. I've got a solid gold Rolex, but I never wear it because I feel like an absolute w***er with it on. You know what I mean?" McGregor made swift work of Poirier when the two first clashed in 2014, knocking the American out in one minute 46 seconds. "In the first one McGregor just smoked him, but since then Dustin has improved a lot - mentally and physically. He's at 155 (pounds) now so he's going to be able to take a punch better. "These extreme weight cuts do affect your ability to take a shot." When pushed for a pre-fight prediction, Bisping said he'd still opt for the Irishman. "Getting out of that first round is going to be the hard thing for Dustin. If he can do that, then the odds start to tip in his favour. "If you asked me, and you put a gun to my head, who wins this fight - I'd probably say a late round two finish for Conor McGregor."
