Robert Lewandowski recently joined Barcelona

Barcelona’s refusal to accept they are in a financial crisis has continued after they confirmed the arrival of Robert Lewandowski on Sunday night.

Lewandowski joined from Bayern Munich in a deal worth €50m after the Poland international expressed his desire to leave the Bundesliga champions after eight successful years at the club.

‘I always wanted to play for the biggest clubs’

“Finally I am here and I am very happy to join Barcelona. The last few days were very long days but in the end the deal was done so now I am going to focus on a new chapter in my life and a new challenge,” he said while posing for photos at Miami Beach.

“I always wanted to play in LaLiga, I always wanted to play for the biggest clubs. It is the next step. Also for my private life, it was a new challenge.

“I know that it’s time to get Barcelona back on track and I am here to help them get back to the top and to winning as many titles as possible.”

Fans noticed Aubameyang’s reaction to Lewandowski’s arrival

After completing his media duties, Lewandowski went to meet his new teammates and have dinner but according to some Barça fans, one player didn’t seem too keen to see their latest addition.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang only joined the Catalan giants in January and established himself as the first-choice striker, but it is widely expected their new marquee signing will be the first name on the teamsheet and supporters spotted his reaction to the Pole’s first interaction with the squad.

One fan said: “The look on Aubameyang’s face. He’s already given up.”

A second said: “Anyone noticed how Auba looked at Lewa.”

Another supporter said: “Just watch Aubas face for the first 6 seconds or so, guys absolutely disgusted someone’s replacing him after 5 months. Pure banter!”

A fourth said: “Robert Lewandowski done a team meet and greet and look at Aubameyang on the table to the left. He is fuming!!”
