A woman was shoplifting inside a retail store when her car burst into flames - with her two children inside.
Alicia Moore, an Orlando resident, has been charged with aggravated child neglect and arson, FOX Orlando reported.
On May 26, Moore parked her car outside a Dillard's department store at the Oviedo Mall and left two children "who could not care for themselves" inside the vehicle, police said.
The 24-year-old then entered the store, along with a man, and began shoplifting, police said.
About an hour later, Moore left the store and discovered her vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
Police said she dropped the stolen goods before leaving the mall and ran to her vehicle.
Video shared by the City of Oviedo, captured by a Tesla nearby, showed the fire quickly rip through the vehicle, shattering a passenger window and what appeared to be the front windshield.
Witnesses who saw her car on fire rescued Moore's children before she got there, authorities said.
Both children, whose ages have not been released, were taken to hospital.
One child suffered first-degree burns to her face and ears.
Authorities are not sure what started the fire.
