This man from a news report sounds EXACTLY like Herbert from Family Guy

This is uncanny...

Alan Loughnane

We’ve been huge fans of Family Guy throughout the years.

Their irresistible mix of near knuckle humour and quick sharp pop culture references have had us guiltily laughing for the best part of a decade.

It also helps that like all good sitcoms, Family Guy is packed full of hilarious characters from top to bottom.

Be you a Griffin, a regular at the Drunken Clam, or even someone popping up in a non sequitur – if you’re popping up in Family Guy, you’re gonna make us laugh.

One of the most famous secondary characters in the show is Herbert, the old man who lives down the street from the Griffins.

He’s instantly recognisable with his high pitched voice and the the fact that he’s usually dressed in a dressing gown and sporting a zimmer frame.

In case you’re having difficulty placing Herbert, here’s some clips of him in action…

This segment taken from the news in America and features a man named Charles Womack who, no joke, sounds exactly the same as Herbert from Family Guy. Have a listen from the 1:11 mark…

In the segment, Womack is speaking about refusing to shut down or make any changes to Blue Cove Hideaway, a dangerous swimming area that has been the location for two swimming related deaths in the recent years.

It’s all very serious. So why can’t we stop laughing?

Much that time of day eh?
