Boris Johnson and Justin Trudeau roasted Putin for his topless snaps

Vladimir Putin has ridiculed western leaders over their “lack of machismo” and said it would be “disgusting” to see them naked after his penchant for appearing topless in photographs became a talking point at the G7 Summit.

Boris Johnson joked with world leaders as they sat down for talks in Schloss Elmau in the Bavarian Alps on Sunday, saying “Jackets on? Jackets off? Shall we take our clothes off…?

“We all have to show that we’re tougher than Putin.”

Canadian premier Justin Trudeau joined in on the roast, saying western leaders should emulate the Kremlin leader’s “bare-chested horseback riding display”.

Putin has previously released albums full of holiday snaps of him shirtless catching the rays and fish, and even a calendar.

The 69-year-old Russian president hit back at Boris and his buddies at a summit in Tajikistan, shaming his foes lack of athleticism in front of an audience of reporters.

“I don’t know exactly how far they wanted to get undressed, above or below the waist,” Putin said, according to a report by the Mirror.

“But I think, either way, it would be a disgusting sight.”

The martial arts black-belt who has since been suspended by the Judo Federation over his February 24 invasion of Ukraine, added: “Recall Pushkin…who said: ‘One might be all about business, yet still take care of the beauty of one’s nails’.

“I certainly agree with that. One must have both a body and a spirit harmoniously developed.

“But to achieve harmony, you must stop abusing alcohol and other bad habits, and do sports.”

Speaking about his current relationship with western leaders, Putin admitted, “this is not the best period in our relations, this is understandable”.

He continued: “Yet they are all leaders, so they would achieve success if they wanted to.

“But they must work on themselves.”

Russian TV channel Zvezda – controlled by the Russian defence ministry – put out Putin’s comments under the file name: “DISGUSTING NAKED OLD MEN.”
