Autumn’s most anxious day has been confirmed as October 7 – the date of release for Glastonbury Festival 2019 general admission tickets.

Organisers announced today (September 17) all the information necessary to purchase a ticket for the festival, including registration deadlines and sale dates.

2018 was a fallow year, with no Glasto, in order to allow the land to recover. This means demand for tickets in 2019 will be even higher than usual.

As part of efforts to reduce ticket touting, the festival’s stringent registration procedures remain in place. So you’ll need to upload a passport-like picture and contact info before midday on Monday October 1. Failure to register in time for this deadline means you can’t buy a ticket. Thems the rules.

Once that’s taken care of, the two most important dates for your calendar are October 4 and October 7. They are the dates of release for coach and general admission tickets, respectively.

Glastonbury 2019 general admission tickets go on sale at 9am on Sunday 7th October, 2018

Tickets will cost £248 + £5 booking fee per ticket and will be sold exclusively at glastonbury.seetickets.com. It’s possible to book up to six tickets per transaction by paying a deposit of £50 per person, with the balance due in April 2019.

Children aged 12 and under are admitted free of charge and do not need a ticket.

As with the general release of tickets, Festival goers will be able to book up to six coach + ticket packages per transaction. The full cost of the coach will be paid, along with a £50 deposit for the Festival ticket, with the balance due in April 2019.
