Woman who asked tattoo artist to give her freckles horrified by results

Rather than cute freckles, the woman was left with dark spots all over her face

A woman who asked to have freckles tattooed onto her face has been forced to get them lasered off after she was horrified by the results.

TikTok user @forever.afterxo, from Canada, shared the real-life ink tragedy on the social media platform after adorable freckles turned out looking more like dark blobs.

In the video, you can see the usually pale brown spots looking unusually bold.

The spots are also extra close to one another, much to the horror of the woman who decided to get her cheeks inked up!

Mortified by the results, the beauty fan was quick to book a laser appointment to have the dark dots removed – at a cost of almost £110.

Not only did she describe the experience as ”painful” but the mum also had to fork out for another session to fix the bad tattoo.

But despite complaining to the artist responsible for the mess, the woman was not met with any apology – in fact, the expert blamed her.

Hitting back at the ink pro, the freckle fan sent her a stern message: ”I think if the colour wasn’t so dark, it wouldn’t have been such an issue.

”But my skin’s really pale and they almost look black.

”How was this my fault?” the tattoo fan was baffled, adding she never got her money back.

It’s not just the mum who was lost for words – social media users were mortified by the dots too, as hundreds flocked to comments.

”Oh my god they did such a bad job…” exclaimed one.

Someone else advised: ”I would try henna! I’ve seen others use for freckles too, always good results and you can do yourself.”

”Why are they so big, round and dark tho?” a third couldn’t believe their eyes.

Another beauty whizz recommended an alternative: ”Use self tanner and a small brush to make micro freckles it’ll give a more natural look!!”

Last year, a woman was left in a similar horror scenario after she found out the hard way that temporary tattoos aren’t always so temporary.

Mum Elizabeth Rose explained on TikTok that she put the tattoos on her face for Halloween, but they proved far more permanent than she thought and made her very nervous about going to work the following day.

In the video, viewed more than 1.4m times, Rose showed how difficult the skeleton stickers were to get off mouth and forehead.

Rose revealed she put on the tattoos for a bit of fun with her granddaughter, before realising they didn’t want to come off.

She said in the video: “Put a tattoo sticker on, join in a bit of Halloween, you know? Put some on my granddaughter as well, she’s seven, and my daughter rings up going ‘has it come off?’

“Well, it can’t be that difficult, surely?”
