Christ almighty.
In the film Borat, Sacha Baron Cohen's clueless reporter deliberately annoys a group of feminists by stating his belief that all squirrels have a bigger brain than women.
While Borat's views are clearly tongue in cheek and used to get a laugh, it appears that a Polish MEP has actually taken them to heart.
Janusz Korwin-Mikke - an independent MEP with his own political party - is facing repercussions after he said that women "must earn less than men because they are weaker, smaller and less intelligent" during a recent debate in the European Parliament.
Given that there are rules in place that prohibit any defamatory, racist or xenophobic language or behaviour being used, Mr Korwin-Mikke will likely be suspended or fined.
After the remarks were made, Socialist MEP Iratxe Garcia-Perez instantly fired back at him by saying that she is "here to defend European women from men like you."
This isn't the first time that Korwin-Mikke has done something outrageous in European Parliament.
In 2010, he made a Nazi salute in the chamber and he has also recently compared Europe's influx of migrants to "excrement".
Here's the incredibly heated debate between both politicians.
