Reddit users are stumped by this image of a couple hugging because of the weird optical illusion. The image looks like the torso of the man in front suddenly becomes a different colour and twists 180 degrees.
The same goes for the woman at the back who seems to blend into her mate’s bottom half.
The illusion is caused by the duo's clothes blending together and becoming indistinguishable.

Some commenters have tried to make sense of it and the best explanation is that his shorts are two colors, white in the middle, black on the outside.
