You'd generally think of a giant watermelon as one of the toughest fruits around.

Not for this hippo it's not. This hippo goes through them like we go through Pringles. In an incredible video from Japan, a man is seen dropping watermelons into a hippo's enormous mouth, only for them to be immediately crushed like they're nothing. It only takes the creature one incredible bite to devour its lunchtime snack - no more effort than it would take us to eat a grape.

The animal's incredible power was really emphasised by the different camera angles used to film the feast. In this one you can see right into its mouth.
