All of Baba Vanga’s correct predictions as she makes terrifying claims for 2024

Joseph Loftus

It’s that time of the year again

Back in 1996, a woman by the name of Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, died at the age 84, however we know her today as the blind mystic Baba Vanga.

Vanga lost her eyesight at the age of 12 during a terrible storm, and it is here that she is said to have gained special powers to see into the future.

While many have scoffed at the idea of such a thing, Baba Vanga did predict plenty of future events successfully such as 9/11 and even the assassination of Indira Gandhi.

But just what did Vanga get right? Well, look no further.

The Kursk

Vanga seems to have predicted The Kursk back in 1980 when she claimed to have foresaw a dreadful event in the city of Kursk claiming it would be “covered with water and the world would weep over it”.

In August 2000, 188 crew members died on a nuclear submarine close to the city.

9/11

It was in 1989 when Vanga is thought to have predicted the September 11 attacks when she said: “Horror, Horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.”

The steel birds she spoke of are said to have been the planes which were hijacked by Al-Qaeda on 9/11.

Barack Obama and Donald Trump

Vanga seemingly predicted Barack Obama when she alluded to the 44th President of the United States being the first to Black president, however Vanga did also seem to suggest Obama would be the last president, which of course he wouldn’t.

That being said some believe Vanga also predicted Donald Trump when she said: “Everyone will put their hopes in him to end it, but the opposite will happen. He will bring the country down and conflicts between north and south states will escalate.”

Extreme Weather

Vanga also apparently predicted a number of extreme weather events in 2022 which came true. She claimed to have seen a vision of a number of large cities across the world being smashed into by droughts and water shortages.

That year, the UK had its driest July since 1935, officially declaring a drought in August.

Spain also underwent an extreme heatwave with the hottest summer in over 100 years in Barcelona, while France and Italy experienced similar conditions too.

Vanga also predicted Asia and Australia would undergo massive floods, which of course happened as well.

Indira Gandhi Assassination

Indira Gandhi, who served as Prime Minister of India in the early 1980s, was shot dead in October 1984 in an apparent revenge killing for ordering a military attack on the Golden Temple.

Back in 1969, Baba Vanga appeared to predict this untimely end, saying: “The dress will destroy her. I see an orange-yellow dress in the smoke and fire.”

On the day she was murdered, Gandhi was wearing a saffron-coloured saree.

Her Own Death

And Vanga even appeared to predict her own death, saying six years before she died, that it would occur on August 11 1996 – the very date she died.

Baba also claimed that a ten-year-old blind girl in France would inherit her gift to look into the future.

After predicting all of this, one would wonder what Baba Vanga can see coming in 2024.

And while Baba Vanga died back in ’96, her followers have said there are plenty of predictions for 2024.

1) Attempted Putin assassination

Baba predicted there would be an attempt on the Russian leader’s life next year, and reportedly by someone from his own country.

Worth remembering that according to Baba, the attempt will be unsuccessful, so maybe Putin has a few more years left yet.

2) Increase in terrorist attacks in Europe

Next year, Europe is supposedly set for an increase in terrorist attacks by extremists. She rather unhelpfully didn’t specify which European country (or countries) would face the terrorist threat.

3) Biological attacks

In a similar prediction to last year’s, the mystic believed that a ‘big country’ will conduct biological weapon tests or attacks in 2024. Great.

4) Huge economic crisis

If you thought the financial woes befalling much of the Western world in recent months wasn’t bad enough, we’re apparently heading for a major economic crisis next year.

Economists listen up, because Baba Vanga puts the crisis down to a number of issues, including rising debt levels, increasing geopolitical tensions, and economic power shifting from the West to the East.

5) Quantum computing revolution

While everybody has their eyes fixated on the existential threat of AI, Baba Vanga says we should be focusing on quantum computers.

Simply, quantum computers use quantum mechanics to increase decision-making capabilities at a previously impossible scale. The power of this technology has huge implications for privacy, national security and financial stability as the capabilities of these computers could be turned towards national secrets, personal information or market data.

And there you have it. It’s worth reminding yourself that Baba Vanga hasn’t always been bang on about her predictions. She’s missed the mark on quite a few of her musings. It is reported though that she predicted the date of her own death: 11 August 1996. So perhaps we should be mindful after all.
