The moment when Welsh WWE star Tegan Nox knee ‘exploded’ in the ring

This looks very painful

Welsh WWE star Tegan Nox suffered a horrible injury when her knee “exploded” during the middle of a match.

23-year-old Nox was facing Australian competitor Rhea Ripley in the quarterfinals of the Mae Young Classic tournament when she injured her left leg early during the match. She managed to continue for a few minutes, but the bout was ended prematurely.

She is clearly in real agony during the match.

It took place at tapings in August, but has only just been shown on the WWE Network.

Behind-the-scenes footage showed Triple H coming to comfort her after the match.

Nox tweeted out a photo of her knee, along with confirming a long list of injuries she had been diagnosed with - including a dislocated kneecap, torn MCL, LCL, ACL and both meniscus, bone contusions and a Segond fracture on her left tibia.

Welsh-born Nox wrestled on the UK independent scene under the name Nixon Newell, prior to signing for WWE.
