Love Island‘s Jacques O’Neill hinted that he might cut his time in the villa short after having a huge row with Paige Thorne.

It all kicked off between the couple after the girls returned from Casa Amor on Thursday night. The episode had to be extended for an entire five minutes – yes five minutes – to reveal the show’s most explosive recoupling yet.

The ‘Casa Amor’ part of the series is notoriously dramatic, and proves as a real test for couples torn apart and teased with new attractive islanders.

Returning from Casa Amor, Paige was initially happy to see Jacques single. That is, until she found out he’d kissed new girl Cheyanne Kerr, 23, and shared a bed with her while Paige was away.

A preview of Friday night’s episode also showed Jacques, 23, discussing the possibility of quitting.

“No point me being here,” he can be seen saying to fellow islander Luca Bish, 23.

“Mate, she’s going to forgive you,” Luca responds. But through tears, Jacques replies: “I won’t let her forgive me.”

The preview also showed Paige, 24, asking Jacques: “What the f*** were you doing?”.

Tha paramedic then broke down in tears to boy Dami Hope – though some viewers thought he wasn’t the best person to go to since he was the one encouraging other boys to follow his lead and crack on with the new girls who came into the villa.

In another dramatic shuffle, Andrew chose to recouple with Coco, after the Casa Amor girls told him Tasha had talked about him behind his back.

Tasha also re-coupled and returned with Casa Amor boy Billy, but Andrew angrily told Tasha’s new boy that she “lies more than Pinocchio”.

Many fans were pleased to see Indiyah return to the villa with new man Deji, after seeing Dami move on with new girl Summer while they were apart.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
