Lil Wayne, it seems, has fans not showing up the way he wants them to.
Even if he's late and only performs for a short amount of time.
According to HipHopDX, the 'Lollipop' rapper took to the stage an hour late at the Wiltern in Los Angles for the last stop of his Welcome to Tha Carter tour on Saturday.
Then, half an hour into his set, Wayne - real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr, left the stage due to a low-energy crowd, having earlier brought out surprise guest, 2 Chainz.
Wayne left his Young Money artists, Lil Twist, Yaj Kader and Allan Cubas to entertain the crowd, but was seemingly unhappy with how they were received.
Before Cubas could perform his second song, Wayne returned to the stage and told him not to bother.
"We appreciate it, but we ain't about to be bending over backwards for these folks. We work too hard for this ****. We work way too hard," the 'How to Love' rapper told Cubas, video shared from the perfomance shows.
He then turned to the crowd and said, "This my mother******' artist Allan, that was Twist, that was Yaj. We are Young Money. We appreciate y'all time."
After putting down the mic, Wayne walked off stage, appearing to flip the bird as he went.
The crowds, waited around for a few minutes, perhaps hopeful Wayne would return. But he didn't, and the lights went on.
HipHopDX reported that the show was sold out and that Wayne also initially sold $15 livestreams — though the livestream was cancelled right before the show.
Fans of the celebrated rapper were not happy on Twitter, with one vowing not to see him in concert again.
