Grab your mates…by order of the Peaky Blinders!

With the news that Cillian Murphy would ‘absolutely’ make a Peaky Blinders film “if the writing is as good as it is for the show,” fans of Steven Knight’s gangster epic might be watching the Shelby family on the big screen in the future.

Well, if you’re a fan of the show that lives in the Midlands you’ll be delighted to know that The Mockingbird Cinema & Kitchen in Birmingham is screening the first episode of the new season.

As they state in the official Facebook event page: “Tickets are just £3 which covers your 500ml Bottle of Sadlers Peaky Blinder Ale that will be given out on your departure. We have the kitchen open and will be serving a peaky burger and chips. Please arrive by 8pm to make sure you get your post Peaky food in. The screening starts bang on 9pm.”

Peaky Blinders. Beer. Burgers…BRILLIANT!

As for the new season, the story kicks-off on Christmas Eve when Tommy receives a mysterious letter. It doesn’t take long before he realises that the Peaky Blinders are in danger of annihilation. As the enemy closes in, Tommy flees his country house and returns to the streets of Small Heath, Birmingham where a desperate fight for survival begins.

In a recent interview, Helen McCrory (Polly) said that Season 4 will see a gangster turf war taking place in Birmingham as the Blinders take on the Mafia, led by Adrien Brody’s new character.

Be honest, doesn’t that sound like something that belongs on the big screen? Well, don’t miss out.
