The Simpsons have somehow managed to do it again as fans believe they have predicted an important moment of US politics following the news that Joe Biden would step down in the presidential race.
Biden, 81, confirmed he would no longer go up against Donald Trump to extend his stay in the White House following speculation about his health and well-being.
He has since endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to become leader of the Democratics, causing a storm on social media.
Plenty of memes have been made about the whole situation but one highlighted a major similarity between a Simpsons episode and the weekend's events.
In the episode titled: Bart to the Future, which was first aired in 2000, Lisa is the President of the US and is even wearing the same purple suit that Harris wore when she was sworn in as Vice President.
"Remember, The Simpsons never lies!" said one fan.
Another person commented: "The Simpsons predictions are mind-blowing!!
A third person added: "Simpsons predictions always accurate."
Simpsons creator Al Jean was just as delighted to see the two moments compared. He said: "@TheSimpsons 'prediction' I’m proud to be a part of."
Harris has publicly announced that she will run for the nomination and thanked Mr Biden for his support.
"On behalf of the American people, I thank Joe Biden for his extraordinary leadership as President of the United States and for his decades of service to our country," she said in a statement.
"I am honoured to have the President’s endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination."
