Sussexes announce visit to three Nottingham organisations

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made their first joint public appearance in Nottingham on Thursday, where visited three organisations supporting people in the local community.

The couple’s plans were announced on BBC Breakfast, with the Mirror reporting on the segment.

The visit saw the couple meet representatives from the Community Recording Studio, Himmah Hub and Epic Partners.

The organisations focus on different areas of community support, from music and recording opportunities to tackling food poverty and helping young people through sports programmes and mentoring.

The trip also marks a return to a city with personal significance for the couple.

Nottingham was the destination of their first official royal visit together in 2017, shortly after they announced their engagement.

Since their return to the UK, Harry has continued to visit charities he has supported over the years.

Meghan, meanwhile, has shared videos of Archie and Lilibet spending time outdoors and enjoying the autumn weather at the family’s Northamptonshire home.
