Sopranos star Drea De Matteo says her 13-year-old son edits her photos for OnlyFans

'He’s like: "So what do you want me to do with the bikini line here?"'

The actress shot to fame for her role as Adriana La Cerva in hit US drama The Sopranos. Her portrayal of the girlfriend of Christopher Moltisanti earned her fans across the globe, and she won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2004.

But in 2023, she decided to join OnlyFans.

This was after she had caused controversy for refusing to get vaccinated against the virus, a decision that led to her being dropped by her agent.

De Matteo has been open about her OnlyFans venture, having previously spoken about how the platform "saved" her when she had just $10 in her bank account.

Earlier this year the actress told the Daily Mail she was nearly homeless when Covid-19 hit and she struggled to get jobs due to her refusal to be vaccinated.

“OnlyFans saved my life, 100 percent,” she told the outlet. “I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it really did save us.”

“They put me into foreclosure and my house had flooded, so I was trying to sell the house quickly. I wanted to try and sell it before they took it,” she continued.

“At the same time, I lost my mum, and my other mum, who has dementia, had run out of money for her caregiver. I didn’t know which way was up.”

Now, she's revealed that he new career seems to be getting some help from her 13-year-old son, Waylon 'Blackjack', who apparently edits her photos for the platform.

During an appearance on on the Not Today, Pal podcast, she spoke to hosts Robert Iler and Jamie-Lynn Sigler about her OnlyFans.

She said: "Blackjack and Alabama — my kids are out there — I’m sorry, guys. I’m really sorry. But they know."

Host Robert Iler then said that Blackjack had said before recording that he "edits" his mum's OnlyFans photos, per News.com.au.

“Oh yeah,” Matteo admitted. “He’s like, ‘So what do you want me to do with the bikini line here?’”

She did make clear that her children don't see her more explicit content that she shoots with other women, and only joined OnlyFans when she knew her kids were fine with it.

“They don’t see the girl shots. But I do go over that with them before I ever put them out,” she said. “I was like, ‘Are you OK with this?’”

De Matteo went on to say that, in her mind, making OnlyFans content is not much different to any roles she has had in the past.

“Because it’s like, if I were to do it in a movie, because I would make out with girls in movies all day long before I’d even make out with boys,” she said.
