A Premier League will play a fixture on Christmas Eve for the first time since 1995.
The organisation released news of the televised fixtures that will take place over the festive period, leading into the new year with plenty of football to keep fans entertained.
As well as the traditional Boxing Day and New Year's Day games, there will also be a game played on Christmas Eve as Wolves welcome Chelsea.
While the Premier League have said that the decision to host the game the day before Christmas Day will enable more recovery time between fixtures, fans have condemned the latest TV picks.
The Football Supporters' Association said a Christmas Eve fixture was "an unwanted present which no-one asked for", while the Chelsea Supporters' Trust CST described it as "totally unacceptable".
Given that the game is played on Xmas Eve, fans - both home and away - are likely to face issues travelling to and from Molineux which has angered supporters.
Chelsea fans also chimed in on social media, with one fan saying: "Fans (home and away) need to vote with their feet and not attend the Xmas eve fixture."
Another posted: "On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me... The death of supporting supporters!
"This is outrageous - I hope this is moved, but most probably will fall upon deaf ears," said a third.
One other commented: "Playing on Christmas Eve is simply outrageous for so many people involved, not just fans."
