A Liverpool fan posted about how they had been let down by the company

A coach company has broken its silence after a Liverpool fan revealed that they had left him and several other fans ‘stranded’ ahead of travelling to the Champions League final.

Jordan Halliwell called out the company, Coach Innovations, on Twitter after he and several other fans were supposed to be picked up at the Rocket Pub in Liverpool at 4pm before travelling to Paris for the Champions League final.

But come 10:30pm, fans were still left at the pub, with many deciding to go home. Some of the supporters on the trip also had tickets for Saturday’s showdown against Real Madrid at the Stade de France Stadium.

As per the Liverpool Echosome fans have been told that they can expect a full refund within a week with one fan, Jay Burke, saying that he and his three friends had paid £179 each for the trip.

After failing to arrive at its original time Burke had called the company over 200 times but was told that the buses had turned up at the designated points, but claimed that nobody was there.

The Echo also confirmed that they had reached out to Coach Innovations for a response and after not hearing anything on Friday night, made contact with the company.

An employee at the company told the reporters at the Echo that they would not be able to make a statement at this current time, and when asked if they wanted to make a statement there and then, replied with ‘no comment.’

Liverpool face Real Madrid in the final on Saturday as they bid to secure their seventh Champions League title and also end the season with a treble, having already won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup this campaign.
