A current Premier League player is set to release his debut music album next week, following in the footsteps of the likes of Luis Diaz, Memphis Depay and former Stoke City striker Jese.
As the aforementioned names indicate, it isn't entirely uncommon for professional footballers to take time out of their busy training schedule to get into the music booth and record new music, however, to do so during the peak years of years of their playing career is rare.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Fulham midfielder Alexander Iwobi revealed that his new album "MORE TO LIFE." will be available from the 9th of April.
The 29-year-old, who is the nephew of Nigerian legend Jay-Jay-Okocha, rose to fame after graduating from Arsenal's Hale End youth academy.
As part of the album, Iwobi collaborated with Aston Villa's Amadou Onana.
Iwobi and Onana know each other from time they spent together at Everton.
Despite his new interest in making music, Iwobi appears as dedicated as ever to his playing career.
This season, the Fulham midfielder has appeared 26 times, scoring four times in total. He also has close to 100 Nigeria international caps.
