Donald Trump said Meghan Markle was ‘no good’ after watching Oprah interview

The former US President apparently isn’t a fan of Meghan Markle

Donald Trump has had his say on the Harry and Meghan interview with Oprah Winfrey. Unbelievably, his analysis is about as considered as a toddler who’s no longer the centre of attention.

Speaking on an episode of Steve Bannon’s ‘War Room‘ – a podcast that was banned on YouTube for blaming the Capitol insurrection on Democrats, keep in mind – former Trump adviser, Stephen Miller, shed some light on what his old boss thought of the interview and Megan Markle, in particular.

In a nutshell, Miller said that Trump described Markle as “no good and now everybody’s seeing it”. He had previously been reported to have called her “nasty” back in 2019 too.

This was after hearing that she said she’d move to Canada if he won the election back in 2016. He denied that claim as ‘fake news’ (ugh) back then but clearly has no bones about commenting now.

But it’s not all hearsay and he said, she (or in the case, another he) said. The episode actually opens with an audio clip of Trump himself speaking about her last year. Here’s what he had to say:

“I’m not a fan of hers and I would say this, and she probably has heard that, but I wish a lot of luck to Harry. He’s going to need it.” This was in response to Harry and Meghan’s video urging American to vote back in September.

Miller continued, stating that Trump said he knew “if you say anything negative about Meghan Markle, you get cancelled. Look at Piers.” Ironically, not unlike Piers Morgan, it seems Trump might have a minor obsession of his own.

It is also worth noting that Miller said Trump was – surprise, surprise – ‘Team Piers’. The pair then went on to joke with the host about ‘woke culture’, Markle’s supposed “greed” and that they too did not believe any of her claims. Imagine my shock.

I’m happy to say I couldn’t bear more than a minute or two of skipping through the dross the pair came out with. At the point when Bannon said, “she did quite a smart thing: if you’re gonna lie, lie a lot – just make it all lies”, I quickly turned it off and went for a shower.
