Woman calls police after finding naked man had been hiding in boot for three days

‘It’s a rite of passage’

A woman in Canada was left astounded after she discovered a naked man in her car boot that claimed to have been there for three days.

This weird tale started a few days earlier, when Bethany Coker noticed that her driver’s seat was covered in mud.

“My car was home all night while we were out wheeling ’til 2am and I started it up this morning not paying attention, only to come back to get in it, and notice the MUD,” she wrote in a recent TikTok video.

“In today’s episode of what the actual f**k… I’m so f**king confused, it looks like someone rolled around in f**king mud and then got into my car.”

Now, of all the things that Coker may have thought had caused the mud, a naked man sleeping in her car boot was probably pretty far down the list.

Her latest video, which has racked up more than 11 million views, was captioned: “This guy has been in my trunk since SATURDAY fully naked. It’s currently Tuesday. Guess I found out where the mud came from…”

“Why are you in my trunk and are you naked?” she asked, to which the man simply replies: “Yeah… it’s a rite of passage.”

She continues, asking: “how did you get in there?” The man’s next answer? “I’m the son of the Pope.”

This was met with a justified “what the f**k” from Coker, who promptly phoned the police. They then escorted the man away, with one of the officers heard saying that he’d never seen anything like it in his career.

Understandably, viewers had a fair amount of questions.

“How did he survive chilling in a trunk for three days?” one wrote.

Another asked: “How were you just so chill about it?”

“I thought this was a bit and the police showing up really turned my reality upside down,” a third commented.

A fourth joked: “How you gonna treat the son of the pope like that.”

“Bethany, it’s been almost 24 hours. We need details,” a fifth wrote.

Responding to one comment, Coker revealed that the man was in fact a “missing person” and is now in a “psych ward.”
