They were left buried under rubble
A group of tourist have been left seriously injured on holiday after falling through a viewing platform on the Spanish island of Majorca.
Seven tourists full through the collapsed viewing platform leaving six injured, two of which in a serious condition.
The accident occurred last night near the village of Randa, offering views over the island below.Â
All seven of the group were French tourists in their 60s who made their way onto a concrete building with a viewing deck on top.
When the platform gave way the tourists dropped 10ft and were covered by rubble, some of them for hours.
The platform sits on road level, and is located on the precipice of a 400ft drop off a cliff known as Es Morro den Moll.
Fortunately for the tourists, they were captured by the inside of the building, with some able to climb their way out.
The tourists were visiting the area with a tourist agency.

The island newspaper, Cronica de Balearics reported: “The rescue operation lasted until 9.10pm.
“The work has been complicated to extract two of the victims. The firefighters have required the presence of a truck with a ladder, which they have parked in the middle of the road.
After stabilising it, they have stretched the ladder, as if it were a boom truck, so that the firefighters have been able to go down to the hut with stretchers.”
The injured tourists were rushed to hospital for treatment.
