Meghan spoke about how having a grandmotherly figure mattered to her, especially as she had a close bond with her own grandmother, and looked after her in her later years.
Elsewhere in the episode, Harry reflects on how after they moved to Canada, his grandmother invited them both over for tea. However, he was later told that this was not possible as the Queen was busy with other engagements.
Meghan reiterated that this message was "the opposite" of what the Queen had told them.
"I remember looking at H," she said. "This is when a family and a family business are in direct conflict. They are blocking you from seeing the Queen but what they are really doing is blocking a grandson from seeing his grandmother."
