People are furious that the Leave campaign ‘lied’ about the NHS and immigration

Too late now

How can they be so bare-faced about it?

Two of the major reasons why 52% of the voting public chose to leave the European Union is because they were told that a) immigration would go down, and b) that the NHS would receive an extra £350m a WEEK from the savings of not being an EU member.

Now, after they got their wish, we are being told that neither of those two things will happen, and they weren’t even promised in the first place. We all gasped as Nigel Farage said as much on national TV just hours after the Leave campaign’s victory.

On Sunday, fellow Leave campaigner and Tory MP Iain Duncan Smith also admitted that the NHS would not be receiving an extra £350m a week, and amazingly claimed that such a promise was never made. Many people with eyes, ears and memories strongly disagree.

These images also contradict what Farage, IDS and fellow Brexiteers are now claiming…

They’ve also done a complete U-turn on immigration. Throughout the often nasty and on occasions xenophobic campaign, we told that immigration into the UK was simply getting out of hand and that leaving the EU would allow us to reverse that.

Now, apparently, that’s far from the case…

People who will now be worse off due to Brexit are now fuming, and feel as if the Great British public have been shamelessly hoodwinked by politicians who didn’t have the nation’s best interests at heart.
