Fortune teller’s predication claims King Charles would abdicate and ‘mystery’ monarch will reign instead

One of his other predictions was scarily accurate

A rediscovered interpretation of the prophecies of a famous French astrologer claims that King Charles III won't be lasting that long on the thrown, and Prince Harry could instead take his place. Nostradamus, the 16th century astrologer, has long attracted attention for seemingly predicting events such as the Iraq War, the 2008 Global Financial Crisis and even 9/11. And one author's interpretation of the astrologer's 447-year-old predictions has seen some royal claims come to light too. A book that Reading wrote back in 2005, which looked at some of Nostradamus's predictions, suggested Charle's divorce from Princess Diana would see huge disapproval, forcing him to abdicate. While some will naturally be sceptical about such fortunes, some of Reading's other interpretations of Nostradamus's predictions have actually been scarily accurate. The Queen and the Duke of Cambridge visited the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) where they were to view displays of weaponry and tactics used in counter intelligence, a demonstration of a Forensic Explosives Investigation and meet staff who were involved in the Salisbury Novichok incident. Her Majesty and His Royal Highness also formally opened the new Energetics Analysis Centre. The State Opening of Parliament formally marks the beginning of the new session of Parliament. It includes Queen's Speech, prepared for her to read from the throne, by her government outlining its plans for new laws being brought forward in the coming parliamentary year. This year the speech will be read by the Prince of Wales as HM The Queen will miss the event due to ongoing mobility issues. (Image: Getty)[/caption] Reading pondered on the term “King of the Islands," used in one of Nostradamus’s prophetic poems, suggesting it described how most of the Commonwealth will be broken away by the time Charles becomes king, leaving the realm confined to the British Isles. “Prince Charles will be seventy-four years old in 2022, when he takes over the throne, but the resentments held against him by a certain proportion of the British population, following his divorce from Diana, Princess of Wales, still persist,” Reading wrote. The author initially claimed that King Charles's old age could force him to abdicate and see Prince William become king, but in his second book, his claims branched out further. Considering Nostradamus’s line “a man will replace him who never expected to be king”, Reading questioned: “Does that mean that Prince William, who would have expected to succeed his father, is no longer in the picture?” [caption id="attachment_358557" align="alignnone" width="2048"]THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS - APRIL 17: (EMBARGOED FOR PUBLICATION IN UK NEWSPAPERS UNTIL 24 HOURS AFTER CREATE DATE AND TIME) Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex watch the sitting volley ball competition on day 2 of the Invictus Games 2020 at Zuiderpark on April 17, 2022 in The Hague, Netherlands. Despite this, Harry is still fifth in line to the throne. Alternatively, Simon Dorante-Day, 56, could be an alternative. Speaking to 7 News Australia, the self-claimed royal son said: “It’s certainly food for thought, because the prediction makes it clear that someone out of left field would replace Charles as king. I can see why some people would think I fit the bill. I believe I am the son of Charles and Camilla and I’m looking forward to my day in court to prove this. “Maybe Nostradamus has the same understanding that I do, that all this will come out one day.” One thing is for certain - only time will tell...
