Liam Gallagher goes off on one about brother Noel on Twitter

Don't tweet back in anger.

Noel Gallagher is arguably the very best musician to provide a funny quote or entertaining story during an interview, but his best line was uttered during a conversation about his brother Liam.

When the former Oasis guitarist was asked about Liam’s character, Noel had this to say: “He’s rude, arrogant, intimidating and lazy. He’s the angriest man you’ll ever meet. He’s like a man with a fork in a world of soup.”

We know that the former Oasis and Beady Eye singer revels in his status as a bad-boy, but it’s safe to say that he’s not feeling supersonic at the minute.

Take a look.

Bad news then for anyone that’s holding onto hope for an Oasis reunion in the near future.

Speaking of, last week Noel named his price for any such reunion.“ For 20 million quid, one gig – that is good money isn’t it?” Gallagher told the Daily Star. “But I have never had that offer from anyone yet.”

Noel also spoke about the upcoming documentary about Oasis’ formative and glory years, Supersonic:

“I know a lot of research went into [the film],” Noel told the Bolton News. “But to be honest this shit was getting made while I was putting a record together, so I couldn’t devote that much time to it … I did 20 hours of interviews and so there were lots of things that I’d forgotten. I’d forgotten how insane a lot of that time was.”

He admits that Liam remains “very angry” over the events that led to the band’s split, despite constant rumours that they’re getting back together.

“Liam is a very angry man still,” Noel said in March. “So he is not cool. I don’t ever sit down, and when people ask about Oasis, I go, ‘No. That is it’.”
