Phoebe Bridgers is bringing an all-female line-up to London next summer, with four acts already announced for a major headline show at All Points East 2027.
The singer will perform at Victoria Park on 27 August, in what she describes as the biggest UK gig of her career.
The appearance also makes her the first confirmed headliner for next year's festival, with organisers expected to reveal additional performers in the coming months.
Caroline Polachek, Kelsey Lu, Danielle Ponder and Jasmine.4.t will join Bridgers on the bill, with more acts to be announced soon.
The decision to feature an entirely female supporting line-up gives the event a clear identity before the full programme has even been announced.
London fans will not have to wait until next August to see her, either. Bridgers is scheduled to return to the UK in November for an arena tour, with Isaac Wood, the former frontman of Black Country, New Road, supporting her.
Her live plans have not been entirely straightforward this year. Appendicitis forced her to cut short a London show celebrating the release of Lost Weekend over the summer.
Those hoping to attend All Points East can access the festival's pre-sale from 10am on Wednesday, 28 October. Tickets will then go on general sale at 10am on Thursday, 29 October.
