Racist woman abuses bouncer outside Birmingham pub

The woman can be seen shouting the N-word and spitting at the bouncer

In a truly horrific watch, a woman can be seen shouting racist abuse at a bouncer in Birmingham this past weekend. The video went viral on social media after being shared by the victim himself.

The man subjected to this abuse was bouncer and musician Tristran Price, who was working at the Figure of Eight pub in Birmingham city centre on Saturday night.

After being refused entry, the woman goes on to push the door forcefully towards Price, calling him a “Black c***”, the N-word, as well as a number of other offensive expletives. As she walks away, she then spits in his direction as shocked onlookers stand by.

In the full post that has now been seen over 2.6 million times, Price writes the following:

I haven’t been doing security for years like some, but in the short time I’ve been doing it I’ve seen and been through pretty much anything there is to see and go through whilst doing the job. This however, is something I, or anyone who looks like me shouldn’t have to go through. There was a time I’d go through things like this and brush it under the carpet but them times are over. Share and find out who this is.

Birmingham Police’s Chief Inspector, James Spencer stated: “We’re aware of video showing a woman directing racist abuse at a member of door staff in Broad Street over the weekend. It’s been crimed as a racially aggravated harassment offence and we are investigating.”

He went on to say, “It’s an awful incident and people are understandably disgusted. We are prioritising the investigation. Our city centre police teams have been working hard with local businesses to make the city a safe and enjoyable place to visit.”

After a weekend that saw more racist incidents as Rio Ferdinand was racially abused by a fan at the Wolves vs Manchester United game, Spencer added: “Racist behaviour is completely unacceptable and we are taking this report very seriously.”

The comments on his social media post range from obvious disgust to many stating their disappointment that those outside the pub and passing by do not interject or come to his defence as the woman continues racially abusing the man.

On Twitter, information began circulating the woman in question worked for Worcester Bosch Professionals – a boiler and heating manufacturer. However, the company have since cleared this up and posted that she was not directly employed by them and was dismissed as a separate contract back in 2018.
