Huge news for learner drivers as they'll no longer have to know key manoeuvers

This will go down well with learners - but perhaps less so with other drivers.

That said, they are skills you remember all your life, and techniques that fundamentally improve your ability to get out of tight spots (or into them as the case may be). But imminent changes to the driving test in this country will mean key manoeuvers will no longer be required.

Parallel parking and pulling in on the right hand side of the road will still be part of the test.
