People are devastated.
Many PlayStation Network users are reporting that their accounts have been “permanently suspended” for no apparent reason.
Users impacted have flocked to social media, explaining that they received a message from Sony out of nowhere which stated that their account had been suspended for good due to “violations of the PlayStation Network Terms of Service and User Agreement”.
Many of these people are understandably devastated as they no longer have access to the digital PlayStation games that they already paid for.

Without any notice, @PlayStation / @AskPlayStation permanently banned me from the #PlayStation Network. No one knows why! I don't have a chargeback, I can't appeal & no response to suspension status. CS says to create a new account & disconnected me.#sony #psn #gaming #ps5 pic.twitter.com/YdoeHM76Iv

Sony has not addressed these reports as of yet, with tech news website The Verge stating that it is currently unclear how widespread these suspensions are.
This news comes as the trailer for the hugely anticipated video game Grand Theft Auto VI has dropped online to much internet buzz.
