McDonald’s is beating the Monday blues with not one – but two – food deals

Fast food favourite McDonald’s has launched two tasty new deals, with their Quarter Pounder with cheese available for just 99p exclusively to all those who order through the app today.

That’s not all though, because today’s special deals also include a breakfast roll for only £1.99.

Hungry? Us too.

The breakfast roll includes bacon, a sausage patty, cheese and a free-range egg in a white roll with the choice of either ketchup or brown sauce. The item has become a much-loved feature of McDonald’s breakfast menu – helping to start the day of many across the UK after they’ve dragged themselves out of bed.

However if you wake up so late that you miss this breakfast-only offer, there’s always the traditional quarter pounder with cheese – which can be yours for just 99p when ordered through the official McDonald’s app.

With the cost of living increasing, people are cutting down on non-essentials with takeaways being one of them – so this deal couldn’t come at a more perfect time.

You’ll have to hurry though, as these offers are only available today and only via those that order through the brand’s app – which also means you won’t have to queue.

These deals come after McDonald’s recently revealed plans to introduce a new summer menu which includes halloumi fries and a range of new burgers.

These new burger additions will include The Spicy Spanish Stack and the Chicken Fiesta, adding a taste of Europe to dreary old England.

The Spicy Spanish Stack will feature two beef patties on a paprika bun with spicy tomato sauce, red onion, lettuce and chilli cheddar.

Meanwhile, the Chicken Fiesta will have a crispy chicken fillet on a paprika bun, also with Chorizo, chilli cheddar, spicy tomato sauce, red onion and lettuce.

Halloumi fries will be served as four sticks, lightly coated in butter and served with rich tomato sauce.

These new additions are set to hit restaurants from July 27.
