Cheese makes everything better

As summer fast approaches, McDonald’s is set to introduce halloumi fries to its menu alongside brand new burgers in the coming weeks.

As part of their Taste of Spain and Cyprus menu, McDonald’s is launching an array of new summer treats. Among the mouth-watering additions, halloumi fries are a clear standout.

The Spicy Spanish Stack will be two beef patties on a paprika bun, topped off with a spicy tomato sauce, red onion, lettuce, and chilli cheddar. On the other hand, the Chicken Fiesta has a crispy chicken fillet on a paprika bun, accompanied by Chorizo, chilli cheddar, spicy tomato sauce, red onion, and lettuce.

Each serving of halloumi will include four soft sticks lightly coated in batter, served with a rich tomato sauce. To top it off, quench your thirst with a Spanish Fruit Punch.

These new additions will hit restaurants from July 27.

To make way for the new additions, the Grand Big Mac, McSpicy chicken burger and Flake McFlurry will no longer be available.

If you can’t wait that long, then don’t fear, as McDonald’s is also launching an Italian range from June 8.

A brand new burger, the Italian Stack is made of two beef patties topped with crispy onions, mozzarella, tomato sauce, crunchy lettuce, tomato and a rich cheesy sauce. The Crispy Chicken Italiano is exactly as it sounds and comes in a ciabatta style bun with basil pesto sauce, mozzarella, tomato, red onion, and lettuce.

And it doesn’t stop there. Screw the summer body because mozzarella sticks are coming back.

If you’re still hungry, then why not give the new tiramisu-flavoured McFlurry a try? Go on, you know you want to.
