With the outbreak of COVID-19 (that's the only time we'll mention it from here, I assure you) McDonald's has deemed it appropriate to close its doors for a short period of time. This means that your weekly dose of the yellow arches is unfortunately on hiatus for a little bit.
But just because you can't get to Maccy Ds does not mean that you can't try and recreate your own version of their treats yourself. Take the Big Mac for example, it's delicious, contains three pieces of bread, two patties, two slices of cheese, some sauce, lettuce and pickles. Surely it cannot be that hard?
With a hankering for one that just wouldn't go away, we decided to try and make our own from the contents of our cupboards and fridge. Note: do not go out unnecessarily to buy some of these things unless you already have essential things that you need to purchase.
So come join us on an adventure to make your own Big Mac. Hopefully the recipe will keep you satiated until those glorious doors swing open again.
